Meet the Team
Dylan Liedtke
Owner • Musician • Recording TechnicianMusic has been a part of Dylan's life since he was a kid. Originally from Ontario, he relocated to Châteauguay to build a life and raise a family, bringing with him a lifelong passion for music and a vision for creating a welcoming space where local musicians can thrive.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Dylan's instrument of choice is the guitar, but he also plays the saxophone, drums, harmonica, and bass guitar. His broad musical background allows him to understand the unique needs of musicians across many genres and styles.
When he's not at the studio, you'll likely find him with his family, playing hockey or working on his own music alongside his band/ best friends. His experience as both a musician and a recording technician gives him a unique perspective, helping artists feel comfortable, inspired, and confident throughout every rehearsal and recording session.
Dylan founded Sound Check Studio with one goal in mind: to create a welcoming, community-focused space where musicians can develop their craft, collaborate with others, and discover their own sound.
